A Very Scary Half-Term: Game Time!

Congratulations, you’ve made it to Half-Term! Now what? If you’re looking for some spooky fun while school’s out, you’ve come to the right place. Puffins love a good holiday and we’ve gathered some of our best friends to help us get in the mood for Halloween.

With just a couple of days left until the releHaunted House activity page 1ase of Old School (Diary of a Wimpy Kid book 10) by Jeff Kinney we couldn’t resist these Wimpy-inspired treats. Try your hand at drawing your very own Haunted House, see if you can escape the the Spider’s Web Trap with this activity sheet and write your own spooktacular comic strip featuring Silas Scratch. Who’s Silas Scratch you may be asking? We’d love to tell you but we’re too afraid. You’ll have to uncover the mystery yourself when the new book comes out on 3 November.

If you’re in more of a witching mood, we’ve got two books just for you. These games from The Worst Witch by Jill Murphy are sure to while away the day. With Mildred Hubble by your side, this word search and spot the difference sheet should be a piece of cake, or a Halloween sweet, to be precise. And are you curious which Worst Witch character you might be? Take this quiz and find out!

The final Discworld novel, The Shepherd’s Crown, is available now and you can celebrate with a trip down memory lane with these Tiffany Aching colouring sheets. Continue reading
