The bestest bits of 2012!

PuffinhighlithsYes, we know its 2013 but we wanted to share our highlights from last year. It seems
both Nicola and Julia love being behind the cameras. And of course we couldn’t
talk about our favourite moments without mentioning the Wimpy Kid Tour– Uncle
Garyoake has become legendary! Thanks for everyone who came along and we hope
to see you next year for some more fun!

Julia “My biggest highlight was travelling up to Scotland
to Cathy Cassidy’s house for a day’s filming in the sunshine to celebrate
Summer’s Dream (the third book in The Chocolate Box Girls series). We also had loads of fun testing the ideas in the
sleepover pack. In fact, we had to do quite a few tests of the Super Summer
Strawberry Banana and Yoghurt Muffins!”
(You can find everything here

Nicola. “My
highlight of 2012 has to be attending a meeting to discuss the
upcoming film adaptation of How I Live Now.We met just a few weeks
before the film went into production in Wales
and Surrey and everyone was very excited to
start bringing Meg’s spectacular story to life. How I Live Now is one of my top 3 books of all time and hearing the producers and Meg
talk so passionately about transferring the book to the big screen
was brilliant – and very reassuring!”

and finally . . . drum roll please . . . .

Thousands of you came along to meet Jeff Kinney, author of the Wimpy Kid – and we hope
you enjoyed the tour as much as we did! The pictures speak for themselves . . .
